Organ Fairchild – Funky jams made for getting DOWN! wsg Specialists / Foothills, Oneonta

ORGAN FAIRCHILD – Live in concert with special guests, Specialists!
Saturday, November 2nd / Doors 7pm / Show 8pm

Foothills Performing Arts & Civic Center – The Loft
24 Market Street, Oneonta

Jam scene mainstays Joe Bellanti, Corey Kertzie and Dave Ruch met in 1983 as members of Buffalo NY Grateful Dead cover band “Wild Knights,” a group that still plays reunion shows to this day.

But it wasn’t until early 2020 that they wrote their first original music together, this time as three-piece instrumental organ trio/funky jam band Organ Fairchild.

The debut gig was just a month before COVID shutdowns, but the horse was out of the barn and the response was immediate!

Individually, these veteran musicians have played music with (not in support of) Bob Weir, Rob Wasserman, Robbie Krieger (The Doors), Nels Cline, Tony Rice, moe., Oteil Burbridge, Steve Kimock, Keller Williams, Strangefolk, Gibb Droll, Big Leg Emma, Juggling Suns and more.

But since 2020, they’ve been joined together in the pursuit of groovy tunes and juicy jams in a high-powered organ trio format.

Seriously, get ready to get down with Organ Fairchild!

NYC dance rockers SPECIALISTS will open the show!

“Fall Forever” — NEXT! Staged Readings 2024

Join us for the final reading of our 2024 NEXT! Readings of New Works by Regional Playwrights: “Fall Forever” by Eva Schegulla.
——————
As Leah grieves her sister Lily’s death, she discovers the fractures in her own marriage. As Alan grieves his wife’s death, he paints the same picture over and over again, depicting their final perfect autumn afternoon together. Alan’s art dealer brings in a psychic, hoping that will help Alan heal and get unstuck before he loses his career. An old flame from Leah’s past resurfaces, sketches showing Lily’s unique talent emerge, and Alan reveals how Lily provided inspiration for some of his best-known work. Lily’s spirit still pervades the house and garden she loved as her loved ones prepare to honor her on the Summer Solstice, her favorite holiday. A drama about grief, art, loss, secrets, and love.
