The Honest Brook Music Festival presents four classical music concerts each summer in the festival barn. Concerts include performances by young, upcoming artists and world class artists performing as solo pianist, violin & piano, cello & piano, chamber music including piano and string trios and quartets, as well as singers.

John Burroughs’ Woodchuck Lodge

John Burroughs’ Woodchuck Lodge is a registered National Historic Landmark in Roxbury, NY. From 1910 to 1921, it was the summer home of John Burroughs, America’s most prominent and adored naturalist-essayist. The lodge is open for tours May through October, and the grounds are open to the public year-round from dusk to dawn.

Frightful’s Falls Trail – Catskill Mountain Club

Named after the falcon made famous by the book “My Side of the Mountain”, this trail connects Bulldog Run to the Gribley Trail. It is steep and is rated difficult.

Gribley Trail – Catskill Mountain Club

Named after the beloved character in the children’s novel “My Side of the Mountain” by Jean Craighead George, which was set near Delhi NY. The trail starts at the end of Sheldon Drive near the high school in Delhi. After a steep climb the trail passes through varied vegetation, offering views of the village. It then proceeds west near the ridgeline of the mountain, then finally descending to meet the Bulldog Run Trail. Continue on the trail or follow the Bulldog Run Trail to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Trailhead. The trail ascends 550 feet and is considered moderate-difficult.
