Schedule and Locations for Music + Performances

12:00p | 1:00p | 2:00p | 3:00p
In Veteran’s Memorial Park
Dance puppet theatre company Loco7 will perform an excerpt from “Forsaken,” a piece that explores the displacement of people as well as certain animal species that are endangered including birds and butterflies. Placing perspective on international events by centering the tragedy in Colombia, “Forsaken” tells the story of citizens who are pushed to the brink and have no choice but to migrate while examining the relationship between where we come from and where we go.

1:00 – 1:45p

at Big Lug
50 Main Street
Moppy
Moppy is a non-binary musician who has been writing their own songs since they were a young teenager. In the late 2010s, they were a part of the NYC anti-folk movement with their band, Sourdoe. Currently, as a solo artist, their music focuses on self development in a more serious, honest, and loving light.

79 Main Street
John Muccino
Solo, singing piano player performing jazz, classical and pop.

at Victory General Store
76 Main Street

A classically trained tenor, Fredric focuses on self-accompanied singing to the lute. Accompanying himself allows a greater unity and spontaneity to the expression and pacing of the music than two performers can achieve.

2:00 – 2:45p

at It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere
75 Main Street
Angel Pam West
Playing originals and classic covers of acoustic rock & ethereal soul.

Readings from Know Hollow – Good Choices Make Lousy stories

at Stamford Library
117 Main Street
Djahari Clark
Director and choreographer Djahari Clark and David Kammerer (musician) have collaborated to create The Ballad Tree. Inspired by Appalachian ballads Djahari’s mother sang to her as a child, The Ballad Tree embraces the oral traditions while acknowledging their journey of modification with new interpretations and inspirations. Focusing on the romantic “Murder Ballads,” the songs will include both popular and lesser-known ballads as well as original ballad-inspired music, dance, and puppetry. Akin to fairytales, the ballads speak to universal themes such as tragedy and love.

3:00 – 3:45p

at Big Lug
50 Main Street
Sawtells
Original pop guitar and drums duo with some nice harmonies.

at Stamford Coffee
